ATHE ARNIE
FOUNDATION

ART · PEOPLE · POSSIBILITY

Put creativity
within reach.

A musical instrument. A first lesson. A place to create.
Sometimes opportunity begins with access.

The Arnie Foundation is taking shape to support children, teens, and adults facing addiction or other difficult life circumstances through creative tools, learning, and connection.

01 / OUR PURPOSE

Art is for everyone.
Opportunity should be too.

The Arnie Foundation exists to make artistic expression and education accessible to children, teens, and adults facing addiction or other difficult life circumstances.

Through access to creative equipment, lessons, education, mentorship, and community programs, we aim to help people explore their talents, find meaningful outlets for self-expression, and pursue opportunities in the arts.

The Arnie Foundation honors Marlowe Price, a musician and artist. Arnie is a character he created, and the foundation carries forward his creative spirit and a belief in people’s potential. His personal story belongs to him and his family. Our work looks toward the opportunities we can open for others.

Creative opportunity can complement recovery and support well-being. Our focus is access to the arts; we do not provide addiction treatment.

02 / WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

More ways to begin.
More room to grow.

You shouldn’t need a degree plan to deserve a creative outlet. And you shouldn’t need to own expensive equipment to take your first step.

01

Tools to create

Equipment grants and donated gear, including instruments, cameras, recording tools, computers, and art supplies.

A bass to practice on.
A camera to see differently.
02

Space to learn

Access to music lessons, art classes, workshops, and mentorship, whether someone is discovering an interest or developing a skill.

A first pottery class.
A teacher who makes time.
03

Paths to education

Future assistance for arts certificates, training programs, and college degrees, helping turn creative goals into opportunities.

A course within reach.
A next step toward a degree.
04

Community to connect

Collaborations with artists, schools, studios, businesses, and recovery organizations to make creative experiences more accessible.

A shared studio.
A place to belong.

Our starting point: We are developing these programs and seeking founding partners. Grants, applications, and equipment intake are not open yet.

THE BELIEF BEHIND THE WORK

People are more than
the challenges they face.

Artists. Students. Musicians. Makers.
Everyone deserves the chance to discover what they can create.

03 / BUILD THIS WITH US

Your time. Your tools.
Someone’s opportunity.

We’re beginning with conversations. Help us shape practical, accessible creative opportunities in our community.

SCHOOLS & EDUCATION

Open a learning pathway.

Explore class placements, instructor introductions, studio access, or future scholarship partnerships. Help us identify the barriers students face and the support that would make a difference, including age-appropriate creative opportunities for children and teens.

BUSINESSES & CREATIVE SPACES

Put your resources to work.

Discuss usable equipment, repair support, discounted supplies, workshop space, or sponsorship of a future pilot. A resource you already have could help someone start creating.

ARTISTS & COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS

Share a skill. Make a connection.

Explore volunteer lessons, mentorship, workshops, and thoughtful referrals. Help us build opportunities that respect people’s dignity and privacy.

LET’S START WITH ONE OPPORTUNITY

A small first step can be a meaningful one.

Bring this mission to your school, workplace, studio, or community organization. Discuss one resource you could offer and what a small pilot could look like.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Starting with intention.

Who is the foundation intended to support?

Children, teens, and adults facing addiction or other difficult life circumstances, including financial hardship, grief, family instability, or mental health challenges. Young people do not need to have experienced addiction themselves to be part of this vision. Specific eligibility and age-appropriate participation requirements will be established before any pilot opens.

Can I apply for support or donate equipment now?

Not yet. We’re developing the first pilot and its selection and equipment acceptance process. This site currently introduces the mission and invites partnership conversations.

Does the foundation only support music?

No. The bass in our logo honors Marlowe Price’s connection to music. The vision includes visual arts, photography, film, writing, design, craft, and other forms of artistic expression.

Are you accepting financial donations?

Financial donations are not being accepted through this website. Organizational and fundraising arrangements will be shared before fundraising begins. No tax-exempt status or tax deductibility is claimed here.
